Chris and I were recently awarded a RAMP Outreach Innovation Award, where RAMP (Rapid Assistance in Modelling the Pandemic) is a UKRI funded community network. We’re using this award to develop some resources to help explain the importance of within-host modelling of infectious diseases. See below for the first output (others to follow soon!)
I am also part of the planning committee for the Royal Institution Masterclass series held in Bath each year. RI Masterclasses are a series of workshops where students can explore mathematics and computer science outside the confines of the classroom, through hands-on extra-curricular workshops.
